What he does

Tape & jointing, finished ready for painting

Every joint taped, filled and sanded until the wall or ceiling reads as one continuous surface — flat boards, curved bulkheads, reveals, external angles and stopping beads. Areas are handed over decorator-ready, floor by floor or zone by zone to suit your programme.

  • Works from layouts, RCPs and setting-out drawings
  • Materials supplied on request, or use yours
  • Waste removal arranged for a fee
  • Up to 400m² a week solo — team brought in for larger or faster jobs

Plastering

Skim finishes and patch repairs where an area needs more than jointing — damaged board, old walls being brought back, or a change of finish level mid-job.

Decorating

Mist coat and finish paint on request, so an area can be handed over painted rather than just ready for painting.

Who he works for

Fit-out contractors, main contractors and developers

The bulk of the work is commercial: office fit-outs in central London, and 12 residential blocks in Wembley. A gym in Camberley completed the same way — boards handed over ready for the decorators.

Capacity, answered straight

Day to day, Vasile works on his own and gets through up to 400m² a week. For a bigger floor plate or a tighter programme he brings in additional taper-jointers — so the size of the job is not the deciding factor, your dates are.

Tell him the area and the handover date and you will get a straight answer on whether it can be hit.

FAQ

What contracts managers ask

How quickly can you start?

Usually within a few days, depending on what is already booked in. Call or WhatsApp with the address, the board area and your programme dates and you will get a straight yes or no on availability.

How much can you get through in a week?

Working solo, up to 400m² in a week, taped, filled and sanded ready for painting. Larger areas are covered by bringing in additional taper-jointers.

Can you handle a large floor plate or a tight programme?

Yes. The day-to-day work is done single-handed, and for bigger or faster jobs a team is brought in so the area is finished to your dates rather than to one man's pace.

Can you work to a programme alongside other trades?

Yes — 19 years of commercial fit-out means working around M&E, ceiling grid and joinery, sequencing by zone, and handing areas over floor by floor so decorators can follow behind.

Do you work from drawings?

Yes. Layouts, RCPs and setting-out drawings are all fine, and quantities can be taken from the plans for the quote.

Do you supply materials?

Materials can be supplied on request, or you can supply them and they will simply be used. Either way works.

Do you take waste away?

Waste removal can be arranged for a fee. Otherwise offcuts and empties are stacked tidily where your waste stream collects them.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes — a 1-year guarantee on the jointing work carried out.

What qualifications do you hold?

NVQ Level 2 and a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card, with 19 years on site. Card details can be shown on request before you appoint.

How is a price worked out?

After a site visit. Board area, access, finish level and programme all change the number, so nothing is priced blind over the phone.
